A five and six-stage steam jet ejector system produces ultra-deep, high-vacuum environments down the micron range by cascading high-velocity steam through sequential booster and ejector stages.
Construction: Booster Ejector → Booster Condenser → Four successive ejectors with intercondenser.
Operation: The gas/vapor mixture enters the booster stage, where steam entrains the gases and discharges them into the first condenser. Each subsequent stage condenses the motive steam and cools the gases before passing them to the next ejector. By the fifth or the sixth stage, the gases are finally discharged to atmosphere.
Performance: Achieves deeper vacuum than three-stage systems, typically in the range of 2–5 mmHg Absolute. A Six Stage Ejector Vacuum System is Capable of achieving absolute pressures as low as 0.5–2 mmHg, making it suitable for specialized industrial processes requiring extreme vacuum
