A Three-Stage Ejector is similar in construction to a Single-Stage Ejector but incorporates intermediate condensers. It consists of a Booster Ejector, a Booster Condenser, and a Two-Stage Ejector. The Two-Stage Ejector itself comprises a high-vacuum ejector, an intercondenser, and a low-vacuum ejector.
These Three-Stage Ejector Vacuum system are designed to achieve higher vacuum levels and handle larger volumes of condensable vapors. In operation, the gas or vapor mixture is discharged from the first stage into the condenser, where the operating steam is condensed and the gases are cooled. These cooled gases are then entrained by the second stage and discharged into the second intercondenser, where the steam used in the second stage is condensed. Finally, the gases are entrained by the third stage and discharged to the atmosphere.
